Kathy Wilkie

Kathy Wilkie is the Registrar & Chief Executive Officer of the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario. She has more than four decades of medical laboratory technology and health services management experience in the public, private and health profession regulatory sectors.

Kathy is a Director on the Guelph General Hospital Board of Directors and is currently Vice-Chair of the Board and a member of the Audit Committee and Quality Committee. She is Past Chair of the Quality Committee and Governance Committee, and served on the Administration & Facilities Committee.

Kathy is a Board member and Past President of the Federation of Health Regulatory Colleges of Ontario. She has also held leadership roles with the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation, where she is currently a faculty member for the Executive Leadership Training program and a committee member on the Board Member Training and Executive Leadership committees.

Kathy is a passionate proponent of governance excellence. She is a recognized speaker provincially, nationally and internationally on the impact of regulatory governance excellence.
Kathy is a graduate of Ryerson University in Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Health Administration (Honours), a diploma in medical laboratory technology and is currently completing the Chartered Director Program at Mc Master University, DeGroote School of Business.
